I had my first doctor's appointment yesterday and I was little nervous, but thank god I had my mom there with me as support. (Joe had to work). After examining me she did confirm that I am pregnant (obviously, I took 4 home tests-haha) but that I was also not far along. I am only 4-5 weeks right now so in the ultrasound there wasn't much to see so I wasn't able to take a picture home. She had me make another appointment in 2 weeks in order to get a better ultrasound and a better idea of when I am due. We both still think it will be mid December like a week before Christmas maybe. She also recommended giving blood every 2 days for about a week to make sure my horomone levels are right on track and today I got my results from yesterdays blood tests and they are looking good so far. Also when she examined me she said my body is taking it well and my ovarious look fine and my uterious is growing at its own pace. :)
I look forward to my next appointment on May 5th and hopefully Joe can make it to that one. More updates to come. :)

When to tell people your pregnant?
I have been told that woman should wait till their 3 months before they tell people "just in case" something were to happen. I can agree that it would be really hard to have to people you had a miss-carriage but how would you be able to keep it in that long? When something happy and exciting happens in your life you want to share it. I have told most of my good friends and a few co workers that I am really close with and of course Joe's parents know and I plan to tell my parents tonight; I don't think thats too much. The fact that I didn't plaster it all over the facebook and sending it to a bunch of people is being conservative about it. I got told from a close co worker of mine today that I should keep it to myself for awhile because I might loose the baby; I know she may be looking out for me but I took it offensivly. It made me sad because as someone who just found out their pregnant doesn't want to hear that. Am I wrong? What are your thoughts?
